A Day Inside the Atelier

Artisan working at a traditional wooden loom

Morning: Looking Before Making

The day begins with the sample table. We compare colours in natural light, review the balance of a weave and decide which idea is ready to move forward.

Afternoon: Material in Motion

At the loom, planning gives way to rhythm. Thread becomes surface one line at a time, with small adjustments keeping colour, edge and tension in conversation.

Evening: Edit and Record

Before the studio closes, each result is looked at again. Useful discoveries are recorded, quieter ideas are left to rest and the next day begins with a clearer direction.
